Who We Are

Welcome!  Thank you for visiting our site. You’re probably here because you're curious or you’re seeking to learn how you can take advantage of the various learning opportunities offered by We Need A Village Again – We Need A Village Again (WNAVA). Either way, you’re in the right place.

WNAVA is a divinely inspired Social Justice Ministry. Nava is a Hebrew feminine name meaning “Beauty.” Thus, we define WNAVA as “All people are created in the image (Imago Dei) of Almighty God” and deserve human dignity.

Our Village concept is derived from the Bible passage in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Through our initiative, We Need A Village Again – We Are Better Together,

we are committed to fostering social change by targeting three key

Social Impact Pillars: K-8 Literacy, Empowerment for Life: Mastering Social, Academic, and Life Skills, and Civic Engagement & Community Advocacy. Our goal is to provide individuals and families with the tools and opportunities to lead a life of dignity and productivity by enhancing literacy, empowering personal and academic growth, and promoting active community involvement and civic responsibility.

We believe that education, coupled with empathy, is a powerful catalyst for shaping society's values and reducing inequality to drive meaningful change and build a more just and equitable world.
