The Founder

Charlene Glover

"We Are Better Together."

Charlene Glover, the founder and visionary leader, espouses the sentiment of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.:

“There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor political, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.”

No matter what role Charlene finds herself in, whether at the helm or in support of others, she is recognized as a reputable transformational leader in ministry and the community. Charlene is the founder and senior minister of Trumpet of God Ministries – Voice of Distinction (formerly Trumpet of God Ministries & Training Center) since 2000. Her social justice activism is grounded in more than three decades of serving others as a ministry leader, 20 years of corporate work experience, community engagement, and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Her diverse background gives her hands-on experience and the understanding that “people are our most appreciable assets.” And without the well-being of people, society is bankrupt.

Fueled with vision, passion, and divine inspiration, Charlene has courageously teamed up with educators, community activists, professionals, and everyday moms and dads to restore hope and empower individuals who often go unnoticed but have the potential to be difference-makers in their communities.

Charlene is the proud parent of two lovely married adult daughters and four amazing grandchildren who affectionately call her “Darlin.”
